For me, dips are a delicious way of eating vegetables, blended with simple fresh ingredients. Dips can also be part of a main course, whether it is based around meat, poultry or seafood.

It is so easy to prepare your own dips instead of buying supermarket ones, which are often full of preservatives and high in calories. Making a dip can be as simple as roasting some beetroot, grating it and folding it through garlic yoghurt. How happy your liver will be!
