For a sweet version of these marvellous snacks, use icing sugar instead of salt. These are best enjoyed straight out of the oven, while they are still hot.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
250g raw unsalted almonds
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 egg white, lightly beaten

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined.
  3. Spread the almonds on a baking tray and roast for 10 minutes. Tip into a small bowl and serve hot.
