Berry bircher muesli with almonds

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 generous handfuls raspberries
100g oat, wheat or rye flakes, or a mixture
200ml skimmed milk
1 apple
2 tablespoons almonds, roughly chopped
2 tablespoons sultanas or raisins
4 tablespoons greek yogurt, to serve
blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, to serve

Method

  1. Place the raspberries in a large bowl and lightly squish with a fork. Add the flakes and milk and mix together well. Place in the fridge overnight to soak.
  2. In the morning, grate the apple into the bircher and mix well. Stir through the almonds and sultanas or raisins, then divide between 2 bowls. Dollop over a little Greek yogurt and serve with the berries.
