Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
800g tomatoes of varying ripeness
salt
2 large balls buffalo mozzarella or burrata
1 handful assorted basil
pepper
a dash olive oil

Method

  1. Cut the tomatoes into thin crosswise slices. Sprinkle with salt and arrange on a dish. Tear the mozzarella or burrata into pieces and add to the tomatoes. Arrange the basil leaves on top, add salt if necessary, and season with pepper. Pour a dash of oil on top and serve immediately.
