Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 skinless salmon fillet, cut into pieces, about 120g
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1/2 garlic clove, finely chopped
10g fresh breadcrumbs
sea salt flakes
freshly ground black pepper
plain flour, for dusting
2 tablespoons rapeseed or groundnut oil
1 burger bun
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
a handful rocket, to serve

Method

  1. Pulse the salmon in a food processor until roughly chopped. Transfer to a bowl and mix through the ginger, garlic, breadcrumbs and salt and pepper. Shape into a patty and chill for 20 minutes. Then lightly dust the salmon patty with flour. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the patty for 3–4 minutes each side. Serve in a burger bun on top of mayonnaise and rocket.
