Breakfast is an important meal in the northern part of the world. You cannot just eat a croissant and have a coffee on your way to work. We have a long tradition of heavy meals in the morning, although nowadays breakfast is becoming lighter.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
200g redcurrants, de-stalked
300g strawberries, hulled
2 tablespoons honey
700ml yoghurt
1 banana, cut into chunks
10 ice cubes

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and whizz for 3–5 minutes, until smooth. Serve immediately in glasses with a drinking straw in each.
