If we had a national cocktail, then this would be it! Żubrówka and apple juice is by far the most popular combination in Poland for a very good reason. Even without the cinnamon it tastes divine; add the cinnamon and you magically have apple pie in a glass. I say magically because Żubrówka by itself has a rather bitter, herbal taste, yet the apple juice transforms it. In turn, the vodka adds depth and balances out the sweetness of the apple.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
50ml zubrowka bison grass vodka
200ml good-quality apple juice
large pinch ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Combine the ingredients in a tall glass and serve over ice.
