Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 pieces skirt steak, about 125 g each
1 onion, grated
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon salt
1 garlic clove, crushed
freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Place steaks in a shallow earthenware or glass dish. Spread grated onion on steaks. Combine remaining ingredients, pour over and turn to coat steaks on both sides. Marinate for 2–3 hours, turning frequently.
  2. Grill over hot coals or under a preheated hot grill for about 2–3 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.
