Our authors are what make Cooked different. This is where we’ll highlight those top chefs that have their complete cookbooks on Cooked. Here, you’ll get the inside track on our superstar chefs and bloggers, go behind the scenes on cookbook production and discover new favourite authors. 

This month, we’re putting the spotlight on Emiko Davies. It all started with a blog for the half Japanese, half Australian food writer, whose 20-year-old travels led her to Florence, where she met a local sommelier (her now husband Marco) and fell in love with the Italian way of life. Emiko now lives in Italy with Marco and their daughter, documenting the local food culture and sharing it through cookbooks such as Acquacotta and Florentine.
