Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
75g butter
small handful sage leaves
salt and ground black pepper
1 quantity Stovetop popcorn
or 2 quantities Microwave popcorn

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a small heavy-based saucepan over medium heat, then add the sage leaves. Cook for 4–5 minutes, swirling the pan often, until sage leaves are crisp and the butter has turned a deep nut-brown colour. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Drizzle the butter mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat.
